Prize Mining Announces Changes to its Board and Executive Team

| | CALGARY, ALBERTA- Prize Mining Corporation (TSXV: PRZ) (the "Corporation" or "Prize") is pleased to report that Mr. Feisal Somji has been appointed as the Corporation's President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. James Glass, the former President and Chief Executive Officer, will continue to serve as a director of the Corporation.
The Corporation also announces that Mr. Marshall Farris has resigned as a director of the Corporation. The Corporation wishes to thank Mr. Farris for his dedication and service to the Corporation. Subject to regulatory and shareholder approval, the Corporation amended the term of the 150,000 stock options granted to Mr. Farris in May 2011 to May 16, 2016. Shareholder approval of this amendment will be sought at the next meeting of the Corporation's shareholders.
